Activities Session 2014-15

Amidst of mantras and puja, “Hawan Ceremoy”was celebrated on 6 August,2014 in the start of Session. Students were welcomed by The principal Dr. Prabhjot Kaur. On this occasion the Chairman Sh. SomjeetpaI , Vice-Chairman Shri. PiarIaI Sharma, coIIege management and staff members gave best wishes to the new students.

Independence Day was celebrated by the coIIege under the Inchargeship of Mrs.Rishma Kakkar.On this occasion, patriotic speech, songs and poems were presented by the students . Dr.Standir Kaur also gave lecture on current problems in India with students.

Various competitions ,poster making ,Art ,Slogan writing and photography were organized by Red Ribbon Club on the International Youth Day on 12 August 2014 in the inchargeship of Mrs.Kiranjeet Kaur .The theme of this competition was “Jawaan hai zindgi ,Shaping a better future ”.

N.S.S Unit of our coIIege celebrated N.S.S Day on sep24, 2014 under the Guidance of programme officer Mrs Kiranjeet Kaur .She told about the works to the students under this scheme and take oath with volunteers.

Alumni meet was organized under the supervision of Mrs. Rishma Kakkar in our coIIege on 16 sep ,2014 .The principal Dr. Prabhjot Kaur welcomed the AIumnee’s of aII the previous sessions. The names of Alumni Office bearer were announced. N.S.S unit of Mata Maiserkhana girls coIIege of education organized one day Eye check-up camp.under the guidance of programme officer Mrs. Kiranjeet Kaur, Dr. Sumit Gupta gave his views to save eyes & details about the Latest Iasic Iazer machine.

Youth Service Committee of Mata Maiser khana girls CoIIege of Education organized two days taIent Hunt Competition from 29 August 2014 to 30 August 2014 in inchargeship of Mrs Kiranjeet Kaur, Mrs. Sarabjeet Kaur and Mrs DeepmaIa. Students participate in various items Iike Solo Song, Solo Dance, Poetic Recitation, RangoIi and Painting ,Clay ModeIIing etc. Prizes were distributed to winners by chairman Shri Somjeetpal Sharma, and Vice Chairman of Shri Piara IaI.

An Inter House Competition was organized on sep12,2014 in our college by Sports Club in the inchargeship of Mrs Kiranjeet Kaur. Kuljinder Kaur (922) was the winner of this inters House chess competition.

International peace day on September 20, 2014 was organized in the college under the inchargeship of Mrs.Deepmala.Students delivered speech on this occasion .All the staff members were present.

On the eve of Karva Chauth,a Mehndi Competion was organized . Mrs.Priyanka ,Mrs.Heena and Mrs. Deepmala judged the students. All the staff members were present at that time.

On 5th Sep, 2014.teacher’s Day was celebrated. Different activates like quiz competition, essay writing were organized.

On the eve of Diwali, an inter-house Diya making competition was organized. Mother Teresa Was declared 1st in Diya making. All the staff members were present on this occasion.

World literacy was celebrated on September,06,2014 .Speech ,and essay on the world literacy were read by the students . Vice Principal,Dr.Satinder Kaur Brar told the importance of this day.

An Extension Lecture on HIV/AIDS Awareness was organized on dated January 27, 2015 by Red Ribbon Club under the guidance of Nodal Officer Ms.Kiranjeet Kaur .The resource person of this extension lecture was Mr.Narinder Kumar Bassi, State Awardee member of U. N. AIDS Civil Society .Mr.Narinder Kumar Bassi gave knowledge about the symptoms of HIV patients .He told the students about different ways to prevent HIV & aware them of HIV/AIDS. Students gained lot of knowledge.Mr.Narinder Kumar Bassi gave bookmarks, edges and literature related to HIV/AIDS awareness to Nodal Officer Mrs.Kiranjeet Kaur. Principal Dr.Pabhjot Kaur and all staff members gave a memorable memento to Mr.Narinder Kumar Bassi. Nodal Officer Ms.Kiranjeet Kaur expressed her gratitude to Mr.Narinder Kumar Bassi .

International Women’s Day Celebration was organized by Punjabi Association and N.S.S Unit In combined form on on March 08,2014.On this occasion Mrs.Surinder Kumari,Mrs. Shavinderjit Kaur,Mrs.Pariyanka,Mrs.Rupinder Kaur were invited as guests. Dr.Satinder Kaur gave warm welcome to them. Students shared their ideas with them.Students performed solo song,group song, recitation and giddha .”Few games were organized for guests . Mrs Priyanka and Mrs Rupinder kaur shared her priceless views with students.

Republic Day was celebrated on 24th Jan,2015 in Mata Maiserkhana College of Education organized by the planning forum in the inchargeship of Mrs.Deepmala.The program was started with 'National Anthan' On this occasion an inter-house quiz competition,speech,songs competition was organized.Principal Dr.Satinder Kaur honoured the winners and gave certificates. Mr. Manoharlal & Mrs. Satinder Kaur shared their views with students .All the staff members were present .

On March 05,2015 was celebrated in Mata Maiserkhana college of education for girls by Hindi association under the inchargeship of Mrs.Rishma Kakkar .Festival of colours, ‘Holi’ was celebrated with colours and flowers in college campus.At this time students disscuss their views about this festival and enjoy the colours very much

On January 24,2015. “Aai basant udi Patang’was celebrated in Mata Maiserkhana college of Education by Punjabi Association under the inchargeship of Mrs.Sarbjeet Kaur .The program was started with “Saraswati Vandana”principal Dr,Satinder Kaur and all other staff members paya tribute to Saraswati mata.Mrs.Sarbjeet kaur told the students about the importance of basant. Poems relating Basant were also sung by students.A kite flying competition was also organized on this occasion Dr.Satinder kaur congratulate the students on eve of Basant Panchmi.Mr.Manohar Lal told the students about the history of Basant Panchmi, and congratulate the students for their future.All the staff members were also present.

"Lohri De Rang Sade Sang" was organized in college campus on 13th Jan,2015 by English Association under the inchargeship of ,Ms. Heena.It was started in a ceremonial way by lighting "Lohri" & Praying to almighty for prosperity and abundance by all.On this occasion students performed solo dance, group dance , solo song . group song & skit etc.College chairman Sh,Somjeet Pal Sharma addressed the students and congratulated them on this eve. At the end Principal Dr. Satinder Kaur paid thanks and presented a token of honour & reverence to the guests. All the staff members were also present.
