I Welcome the students in Mata Maiserkhana College of Education

In the Present era of Knowledge based society education has a significant role. Bathinda and Mansa districts are rural dominating and particularly around the village of Maiserkhana.So the malwa prantiya Brahman sabha,a religious,social and public welfare non govt. voluntary organization working in the field of religious during the last more than thirty years,brought of the idea of establishing a premier B.Ed college in Maiserkhana for girls only. During the short tenure of last ten year this college has become key institution of Malwa region in the field of education. The college is known for importing quality and standard education and particular for discipline.

Education plays an important role in life of an individual, society and nation. Education,basically is a pillar of knowledge and information, it performs one of the most important function of creating disciplined and intellectual society . it helps the citizens to understand their responsibilities and duties towards the family,society and the nation. All of you who will become traind Teachers will bear and immense responsibility to bring up the students under your umbrage. You will be required to act and guide your students to reach the highest echelons’ of the education. You will be virtually their mentor to develop their careers.

Since this is the teacher training institution, we are engaged in making our students not only competent teachers but also good human being. We nurture an environment of excellence, innovation and continuous learning which inculcate motivation in students to explore new horizon. I am confident that our training to pupil teacher will help them to face the challenges of life and they will surely prove to be valuable assets to their employers. Our country needs more attention for welfare and upliftment of female and children. Women and girls are struggling a lot to their due share in our male dominated society. They want to become socially and financially independent and do not want to be a burden upon others. Being the girls’ college, our motive is to teach and uplift the women because women are strong pillars of every successful society. Lastly, I wish success to all the students and pray that you successfully pass out teacher training programme.
